Church

The parish of Lydbury North covers quite a large area, including a number of smaller communities, Brockton, Eyton, Totterton, Lower Down, Acton and Plowden.

Lydbury North Church was founded during the 12th century, It is dedicated to St Michael and All Angels. St Michael is depicted in a stained glass window in the church. The church is unusual because it is an Anglican church but has a Roman Catholic chapel inside.
The church tower has a rare one-handed clock.
It is one of the Ridgeway Churches, one of five local churches built along the old Kerry Ridgeway.
