The Building
Lydbury North Village Hall was built in 1928, it consists of a main hall (with stage), committee room, kitchen and toilets.

The Committee

At present a committee of villagers have formed a working group to look at the possible rebuilding / renovation of the village hall. An extensive questionnaire (Parish Plan) has been given to every parishioner and these are now being collated. Some of the questions were about the village hall and its use.

GRAND DRAW

In aid of Village Hall funds a  Grand Draw to be held on December 15th (during Sid Kipper Show)

1st Prize        New Fujitsu-Siemens Lap Top Computer
2nd Prize       16 Piece Dinner Set
3rd Prize       Bottle of Whisky
4th Prize        Bottle of Sherry

Tickets £1 each or £5 a book, available from Village Shop and Committee members.

The Village Hall Committee has finalised its Autumn 2007 Programme of events - please look at the Events Page to view dates and times of film, theatre and music events.
The Village Hall Committee is undertaking the gradual refurbishment of the premises as grants and fund-raising allow.
The Green room has been re-equipped  and redecorated as a meeting room for small  groups.  Newly carpeted and with new tables and chairs, storage heating will follow shortly. Thereafter new seating will be purchased for the main hall  and most of the existing plastic chairs will be sold. Any local organisations who might  be interested are invited to contact the committee
